Abstrak :
Companies as business actors increasingly realize the importance of
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as an integral part of their
operational activities. CSR is not only considered a moral responsibility, but
also an important business strategy to create long-term value for the
company. The regulation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is
regulated in Article 74 of Law Number 40 of 2007 concerning Limited
Liability Companies. This research uses a normative juridical approach
method, normative research is legal research that examines library material
so it is also called library legal research accompanied by primary data as
support. The method of analysis used is normative qualitative, which is a
method that is a logically arranged discussion and description of the results
of research on the norms of legal rules and theories that are relevant to the
subject matter. Based on the results of the research, PT Sucofindo as a
company related to natural resources has implemented Corporate Social
Responsibility (CSR) in accordance with the provisions of Article 74 of Law
Number 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies with CSR
programs referring to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) numbers
3, 4, 7, 8, 12, and 16. Therefore, PT Sucofindo cannot be subject to sanctions
as stipulated in Article 74 paragraph (3) of Law Number 40 of 2007
concerning Limited Liability Companies.
