Abstrak :
Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) produce superior products from
their creativity and innovation. The products produced by MSMEs are different, so
these products must be given Intellectual Property protection in the form of brand
rights with the aim of preventing unfair business competition. The aim of this
research is to determine the level of legal awareness of MSME actors in the
Banyumas Regency area. This research is empirical juridical research with a
qualitative approach method. The research was conducted at the Banyumas
Regency Industry & Trade Service, the Banyumas Regency Manpower,
Cooperatives & SMEs Service, the Banyumas Regency Public Service Mall, and the
business premises of MSME actors in the Banyumas Regency area, who also served
as research informants. The data sources used are primary data and secondary
data obtained using interview methods and documentation studies. The data that
has been obtained is processed using data categorization, data reduction and data
presentation techniques. The data that has been processed is then presented in the
form of narrative text. The results of the research state that the level of legal
awareness of MSME actors in the Banyumas Regency area is in the medium
category, so efforts are needed by the Banyumas Regency Government to increase
the legal awareness of MSME actors again.
