Abstrak :
Good Corporate Governance is a company management system designed
to improve company performance, protect the interests of stakeholders and
improve compliance with laws and regulations and generally accepted ethical
values. Not only BUMN companies, but all companies including private
companies must apply the principles of Good Corporate Governance. PT Bintang
Service Management is one of the private companies that must implement Good
Corporate Governance. This study aims to determine how the implementation of
Good Corporate Governance at PT Bintang Service Management Semarang.
This research was conducted using an normative juridical approach
method with descriptive-analytical research specifications. The data sources
used are primary data in the form of interviews with sources from PT Bintang
Service Management and secondary data in the form of literature studies relevant
to this research. Data processing is done by data reduction, data presentation,
and conclusion drawing which is then presented in the form of narrative text
through qualitative normative analysis method.
Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the implementation
of Good Corporate Governance of PT Bintang Service Management has been
carried out. But what needs to be optimized in terms of transparency, PT Bintang
Service Management has not included the company structure on the company's
official website, where is included in information disclosure. Furthermore, in the
principle of accountability, PT Bintang Service Management only carries out one
of the three corporate social responsibilities, namely the social sector.
