Abstrak :
State-owned Enterprises (BUMN) as the pillar of the economic of the state
to realize prosperous for all residents have to be a forerunner in establishing the
principles of Good Corporate Governance. This principle is applied as the base of
company operational in the order of well-management and problem resolution of
company. This research was conducted to find out how the principle of good
corporate governance implemented at PT Indonesia Power Mrica Power
Generation Unit.
This research was conducted using a normative juridical method with a
qualitative normative analysis. The research spesification uses descriptive
analytical research, data collection methods using secondary data acquired
through library research and primary data acquired through interviews at PT
Indonesia Power Mrica Power Generation Unit, with the data assessment method
in the form of narrative text and arranged systematically.
Based on the research result, PT Indonesia Power Mrica Power Generation
Unit has implemented the five principles of Good Corporate Governance
specifically, principle of transparency, accountability, responsibility,
independency, and fairness properly in accordance with State-owned Enterprises
Ministerial Regulation Number: PER-01/MBU/2011 on Implementation of Good
Corporate Governance in State-owned Enterprises (BUMN) as amended with
State-owned Enterprises Ministerial Regulation Number: PER-09/MBU/2012.
