Abstrak :
This research titled "Analysis of Concept Soushokukei Danshi Main Character Dorama Otomen by Masaki Tanimura," which describe the concept Soushokukei Danshi. Because the authors are interested in gender and Dorama Otomen, author conducted this research. The data use screenshot and dialog of Dorama Otomen by Masaki Tanimura. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive using semiotic Pierce theory that focusing on the first trichotomies qualisign, sinsign dan legisign. This qualitative research is using the gather and record technique. Based on the results of the research of the main character in Dorama Otomen by Masaki Tanimura, that the main character Masamune Asuka has characteristics Soushokukei Danshi, as is gentle, not aggressive in romance, enjoy or read comics Shoujo, like things sweet or funny, concerned appearance or fashion, doing household chores, always check out the new items at the convenience store or something that is trendy. But in romance Asuka just can’t express the love and not to keep away from women. Soushokukei Danshi different with transgender because transgender was change all of identity, that is feeling, thought, appearance and behavior while Soushokukei Danshi didn’t change the overall identity. Asuka feeling and appearance unchanged but changed his mind later half Asuka behavior such as women and half men. Therefore Asuka almost like Soushokukei Danshi.
