Abstrak :
The study examines the deception strategy and motive conducted by Aki Ogasawara in Kanojo Wa Uso Wo Aishisugiteru Film. The objective of the study is to describe the strategy and motive of lies by Aki Ogasawara in Kanojo Wa Uso Wo Aishisugiteru Film. The primary data sources are from the dialogue and monologue by Aki Ogasawara and the direct and indirect dialogue by the major and minor characters in the film. The result of this research finds three deception strategies and motives that interrelated one to another. First, it proves that Aki frequently uses the equivocation strategy to remain his image. Second, falsification strategy is done in the beginning of deception and it is only used for specific tasks. Third, concealment is being used to build relation with respondent in the mission of accomplishing the specific tasks. The conclution is the strategies and the motives that Aki Ogasawara had conducted are related to each other and continual in order to make the deceptions be perfect.
