Abstrak :
The research titled 'Ambiguity in Indonesian Language (Study Semantics). This study aimed to describe the types of construction semantic ambiguity in Indonesian, which are words, phrases, clauses, and sentences. Benefits of this research is to increase the wealth of research in the field of semantics and provide a general understanding of the kinds of ambiguity in Indonesian.
This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Sources of data in this study is in the form of writing the data contained in newspapers and electronic media. In the data collection phase, the method used is the method refer to the basic techniques such as tapping techniques and subsequent engineering techniques in the form of notes. At this stage of data analysis, the method used is the method Shared with basic techniques such as a technique for the direct elements and techniques such subsequent insertion techniques and techniques expand.
Based on the data analysis, there are three types of 18 kinds of ambiguity analyzed data, ie 1 phonetic ambiguity, 2 ambiguity lexical and grammatical ambiguity 15. From this research it can be concluded that the ambiguity in Indonesian happens accidentally, and writing errors in the form factor of punctuation and spelling.
