Abstrak :
The implementation of Electronic Court (e-Court) system in Banyumas District Court is an
innovative effort to reform the judicial system in Indonesia. This research aims to analyse the
effectiveness of e-Court implementation in accelerating criminal justice process. The research
method used is empirical juridical with qualitative approach. The result of the research shows that
the implementation of e-Court has successfully increased the efficiency of the judicial process,
shortened the time needed to apply for confiscation permit and detention extension, and increased
the ease of access for the parties involved. With the e-Court system, the filing of documents and
case administration can be done electronically, which reduces the court's workload and speeds up
the transfer of files from the prosecution to the court. Procedures that used to take days can now
be completed in a few hours, thus speeding up the entire judicial process, from investigation to
judgement. Nevertheless, there are several obstacles faced, such as limited technological
infrastructure and lack of public understanding of the e-Court system. This study is expected to
contribute to the improvement of a more effective and efficient justice system in the future.
