Abstrak :
Along with the increasing population density in Indonesia. The need for
land is always increasing, land plays an important role in people's lives. This
research aims to analyze the legal consequences for PPAT who participated in
committing the crime of forgery in the West Jakarta District Court Case Decision
Number 248/Pid.B/2022/PN.Jkt.Brt and the legal implications of the sale and
purchase deed containing false information in the Decision West Jakarta District
Court Case Number 248/Pid.B/2022/PN.Jkt.Brt. This research was conducted using
a normative juridical approach, the research specifications are descriptive. Data
collection using literature study, presented in the form of narrative text arranged
systematically, and analyzed normatively qualitatively.
Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that
the legal consequences for PPAT who participated in committing the criminal act of
forgery in the West Jakarta District Court Case Decision Number
248/Pid.B/2022/PN.Jkt.Brt have fulfilled all the elements of the criminal act of
forgery against Authentic Deed with a maximum penalty of 8 (eight) years in prison
as regulated in Article 264 paragraph (1) 1 of the Criminal Code. The legal
implications of the sale and purchase deed containing false information in the West
Jakarta District Court Case Decision Number 248/Pid.B/2022/PN.Jkt.Brt, the deed
is invalid and null and void, which means the deed is deemed to have never existed.
