Abstrak :
The crime of theft of two-wheeled motorized vehicles is still happening
and is a concern for the community, most cases occur due to the perpetrator's
urgent need for money and the victim's carelessness. The purpose of this study
was to determine the factors considered by the perpetrators in committing the
crime of theft of two-wheeled motorized vehicles, both driving factors and
inhibiting factors and the actions taken by the perpetrators immediately after
successfully committing the crime of theft of two-wheeled motorized vehicles. This research method is sociological juridical. The data sources used are
primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques using interviews
and literature study. The theories used are victim precipitation, dif erential
association, and economic factor theories. The results of this study indicate that the factors considered by the
perpetrators in committing the crime of theft of two-wheeled motorized vehicles
are victim contribution factors, economic factors, environmental factors, and
motorcycle factors. While the actions taken by the thieves immediately after
successfully committing the crime of theft of a two-wheeled motorized vehicle are
selling it, which is preceded by the act of bringing the motorbike to a safe place, replacing or removing the sticker and motorbike license plate, and making a fake
