Abstrak :
Labelling is something that must be done by business actors in
producing goods and/or services. With the label, consumers will obtain
correct and clear information, both regarding the quantity, content and
quality of goods and / or services in circulation. The purpose of this
research based on the existing problems isto find out how the responsibility of
business actors in Decision Number44/Pid.Sus/2022/Pn. Tng.
The method used in this research is normative juridical, the research
specification is descriptive. The data used in this research is secondary data in
the form of primary legal materials, secondary legal materials and tertiary
legal materials. The data collection method used is literature study and the
data analysis method used is normative qualitative.
The result of this research in Decision Number 44/Pid.Sus/2022/Pn.
Tng is that the panel of judges stated that Bong A Fu as a business actor has
been proven legally and convincingly guilty of committing the crime of trading
and/or producing goods that do not meet the standards required by statutory
provisions, as well as not installing packaging labels as regulated in Article 8
paragraph (1) letters a and i of Law Number 8 Year 1999 concerning
Consumer Protection. Sentenced the perpetrator to 6 (six) months
imprisonment, and the evidence in the form of 24 (twenty four) boxes of
unbranded alcoholic beverages of ciu type were confiscated fordestruction.
