Abstrak :
Radio is a one-way mass media type that plays a role in disseminating messages
(news, information, and entertainment) to the public with a broad reach. In this
modern era, despite the availability of numerous mass media options, radio remains
the preferred choice for some individuals to access information swiftly, including
both government-owned radio stations and private companies. Law Number 32 of
2002 on Broadcasting defines radio as a medium of mass communication that
transmits ideas and information in the form of sound to the general public through
regular and continuous programs. The young and productive age groups constitute
a significant percentage of the total permanent voter list in the 2024 general
election, making it essential to provide them with education to prevent abstention.
This step is crucial in realizing the general election as an ideal instrument of
democracy. With the upcoming 2024 general election, Paduka FM aims to foster a
politically informed and active youth population by organizing informative
programs, interactive discussions, and expert interviews. The station collaborates
with educators, experts, and community leaders to ensure a well-rounded and
balanced approach to political education.
