Abstrak :
Business actors are parties who are responsible for the security and safety
of their goods and/or services to consumers. This means that all aspects related to
goods and/or services that business actors provide for consumption must comply
with security and safety standards so as not to harm consumers. The purpose of this
study is based on the existing problems, namely to find out how the responsibilities
of business actors in decision Number: 24/Pid.Sus/2021/PN Pwt.
The approach method used in this study is a normative juridical approach.
The data used is secondary data in the form of laws and regulations, literature
books, articles, journals and official documents by means of library research, and
the data analysis method used is qualitative normative analysis method.
The results of this research in Decision Number 24/Pid.Sus/2021/PN Pwt is
that the panel of judges stated that the business actor Budi Nuryanto Als. Budi Bin
Siswo Sumarto has been legally and convincingly proven guilty of committing a
crime by intentionally producing food for distribution using materials that are
prohibited from being used as food additives. Imposing criminal penalties on
business actors with imprisonment for 3 (three) months.
